Happy Homeowners

We are a newly married couple, married on April 28th of 2018. We have a unique story on how we met. Eric is from St Louis and I am from Sellersville. We both studied architecture, Eric at Kstate and myself at PhilaU. We met while studying abroad in Germany and it was love at first sight. At the end of the semester we still had one year of school left. After doing long distance for our last year we graduated and moved to Kansas City for the last two years.

We were living in Kansas City and wanted to move because we wanted to be near family especially since we are planning to start own our family in the coming years. Coming back and finding our house meant finding a safe and loving place for us to call home.

Finding Kristen with Everyhome was a happy accident. We used Everyhome as our search engine to find homes we wanted to see in the area. When we found our now home we just filled out the online form to see the home and it happened to be directed to Kristen. When meeting with Kristen to see the home she was very kind as well as very prepared. She had all the paperwork on the home as well as other possible homes for us to look at.

We love the location of the home, it is a good in between of where we both work. We also love that this house has a good size yard for our big pup named Zoey. She is a Great Dane/Lab but she thinks she's a lap dog. The house has a beautiful deck to enjoy in the summer. We also loved that the house was in great condition, was well maintained and only needed cosmetic changes. We knew this house could be the house we grow into with a family.

We do want to make some style changes to our home like updating both of the bathrooms with new flooring and fixtures. We also want our home to represent us and we want it to feel like a warm and inviting home. We hope that someday we can make this the home we bring our kids home to and raise our family in.

We love that our neighborhood is small and quiet but not too secluded. It is a perfect location in between our jobs keep our commutes equal while keeping us close to shops and restaurants but mainly Target!

We have done a lot of projects so far like painting the whole house, replacing carpet and painting the kitchen cabinets. We have also installed a barn door for our bathroom. We have other projects we want to do like replacing the floor in the bathrooms with tile and replacing the back- splash in the kitchen. We also want to dress up the fireplace in the basement.

There are so many exciting possibilities now that we are here in our new home!
