Happy Homeowners

When we had our third baby, we realized that we needed more room for our growing family. We were also reluctant to undertake big projects in our former house if that wasn't going to be our home for a long time; it was time to find that place and begin investing time and energy in our forever home.

We were looking for a Realtor and were introduced to Colleen Whitlock through a family connection. We immediately liked how she was realistic but also had a "can do" attitude. Colleen and Everyhome seemed to have a very efficient and customized model. The seller’s market was not particularly strong where we were selling, but Colleen was fantastic in navigating us through the process. There were many ups and downs, in the end Colleen got us exactly what we needed in a very short time frame. She understood the Delaware County market perfectly.

We love traditional stone and brick colonials, and this house is a classic stone colonial in a great neighborhood. It has many features that jumped out to us; newly finished basement, modern open kitchen, great front porch for socializing, fenced in yard to contain our children, master bathroom.  With three little kids and both working full time, we don't have a lot of time for home improvement projects. This house was as close to a finished product as you can find.

We really liked that it was within walking distance to "downtown" Springfield, as well as St. Francis of Assisi Church and School. There is a park directly across the street, and many young families of similar age to us. Springfield is like a small town in the middle of a big metro area, and that really appealed to us.

We are looking forward to settling in and investing in both our new home and this great neighborhood community!
