Wayne is the largest of the communities stretching along the train route that gave the Main Line its name.  One notable draw to the area is the top-ranking schools that serve Wayne (Tredyffrin-Eastttown and Radnor).  Rumor has it that once people live and shop in Wayne they find no reason to go anywhere else!  I have also found that a large number of people that grow up in Wayne return to the area to raise their own family.

I love living in Wayne because of the community and the proximity to so many unique stores and delicious restaurants.  I will share some of my favorite places.  I love shopping in Eagle Village because it is home to so many fabulous stores.  Menagerie – a clothing boutique specializing in stylish clothes/accessories is one of my favorites.  The clothing is on trend and there are so many fun accessories.  The women who work there are helpful and kind and it is my “go to” store for a gifts.

Two other places I frequent in the same shopping center are Valley Forge Flowers and Wink.  The Cottage at Valley Forge is a great place to grab a delicious sandwich and shop around.  Valley Forge Flowers is full of beautiful gifts or exquisite arrangements.  Wink is a beauty bar specializing in blow outs and lash extensions – looking good for the holidays is a must! Down the street are 2 other favorites – the White Dog Cafe and the newly opened Blue Octagon Too (the sister store to the amazing furniture and decor store Blue Octagon in Malvern.)  The Blue Octagon Too is filled with amazing and colorful things for your home.  You will just feel happy stepping inside.  Other amazing places include the Wayne Farmers Market, Autograph, Goats Beard, Le Pain Quotidien, Wayne Sporting Goods, Blue Mercury, Coco Blue, and Louella.  And if you want to take a break, you can stop for a movie at the Anthony Wayne theater.

And if it is at all possible that you can’t find exactly what you are looking for in Wayne (highly unlikely 🙂 you can easily hop on a train and get into the city.
