It\u2019s also a good idea to consider wrapping your hot water pipes in insulation this time of year \u2013 it\u2019s a cheap and easy project and you can pick up supplies at your local home improvement store.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.everyhome.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/frozen-pipes.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-7615\" src=\"http:\/\/www.everyhome.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/frozen-pipes.jpg\" alt=\"Winter Home Inspections\" width=\"400\" height=\"258\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.everyhome.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/frozen-pipes.jpg 620w, https:\/\/www.everyhome.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/frozen-pipes-300x194.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 400px) 100vw, 400px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>And while your home inspector will get a good look at the home\u2019s heating system in the wintertime, unfortunately they won\u2019t be able to get a good read of the home\u2019s air conditioning system \u2013 in fact, they could damage the unit if it\u2019s turned on when the weather is below 60.\u00a0 In the summertime, buyers have the opposite problem \u2013 they can check out the AC, but not inspect the heating system as easily.
