Good news for Philadelphians who are sick of skyrocketing rental prices! The City of Brotherly Love was recently named the third best buyer’s market in the nation by Owners.com. The study’s researchers evaluated the nation’s largest markets to determine where buyers could expect to find affordable housing with less competition. Boston, New York, and Chicago also made the top ten. 
Of course, Philadelphia’s suburbs are an entirely different story. Many of the closer suburbs in top-ranking school districts (including Abington, Doylestown, Ardmore, and Media) are strong seller’s market, where inventory remains low and home prices are quickly rising.
