EveryHome agent Amanda Thorp has enjoyed living in Conshohocken for over five years, and she loves it because there’s something for everyone!  Read on for her favorite parts about living in one of Philadelphia’s most sought-after suburbs.
Conshohocken
Conshohocken is located within Colonial School District, which is an award-winning suburban school system.  It’s a great place to raise a family, and there are plenty of great intramural youth sports teams, as well as family-friendly events throughout the year.
Plus, many commuters love Conshohocken because it its convenience to Philadelphia.  Located at the intersection of 76 and 476, it is easy to get to offices downtown in Center City, King of Prussia, or even the many office buildings in Conshohocken.  It is also located on the Manayunk/Norristown regional rail line, making it easy to get to the city for work or just a fun night out on the town.

Conshohocken is also home to plenty of great restaurants, and Cerdo is one of the best new ones. It’s off the main drag a bit, and the atmosphere and food are fantastic (and be sure to try the Wild Boar burger!).  Other great eateries to try include Pepperoncini’s, Guppy’s, The Great American Pub, and Jasper’s Backyard.   And there’s always something going on in Conshohocken. The town hosts a St. Patrick’s Day Parade by Fayette Street each year, and it is one of the best family-friendly parades around! After the festivities, you can stop by one of the local bars for a pint of green beer.

Outdoor enthusiasts will love the Schuylkill River Trail.  It runs through Conshohocken, and is a great place for bikers, runners or walkers.  The river trail makes it easy to take a bike ride to Manayunk’s Main Street for a bite to eat, or even Center City if you’re feeling ambitious!
