U.S. News and World Report ranks the nation’s top high schools each year, and a number of Philadelphia-area schools were ranked among the nation’s and state’s best.  The trusted ranking and analysis company evaluated data including graduation rates, academic excellence, and preparedness for college and careers.

The Julia R. Masterman School in Philadelphia was recognized as being Pennsylvania’s top high school.  While Masterman is a part of the School District of Philadelphia, it’s important to note that the exceptional school is a magnet school for gifted and talented students.

Of the region’s public high schools, New-Hope Solebury ranked first, followed by Conestoga (Tredyffrin-Easttown School District), Lower Merion, and Strath Haven (Wallingford-Swarthmore School District).
