Lower Salford's Historic "Dielman Kolb" house is for sale. Placed in the Pennsylvania Historical Registry in 1972, this house dates back to at least 1760 pre Revolutionary War. The Dielman Kolb house is a Germanic Style structure and was built after he purchased the 150 acres in 1717. Through time the house now sits on 2.5 acres. There may have been a pond on-site that has overgrown with cattails, but could be stunning if property dug out. The first major attempt to restore the house to it's origins date back to the early 1970's. The current owner also took great care in restoring other parts of the home including but not limited to the correct placement of walls and the correct type of wrought iron hinges and handles, and fully functioning wood shutters and locks and an updated shaker roof. Looking for someone to continue with keeping the historic preservation of this truly unique property. Modern day conveniences would be a full service kitchen and bath. Central Heat and Air.
