Off the beaten path stands a charming 1870’s farmhouse that I am so excited to call my home! As I drive through the winding driveway, passing mature trees, I can already envision my chickens and farm animals roaming the front yard. This is a rare gem and will be a slice of rural paradise that will be all mine! When I approached the front porch, I imagine myself sipping my coffee and swaying in my rocking chair. This is a peaceful spot that I can't wait to enjoy each morning. Stepping inside, I am first greeted by the stunning wood floors, classic molding and beautifully maintained interior adorned with some of the original features from the 1870s. The floorplan is open, making the family room and dining room spacious. I plan to host holidays and get togethers often so this space will be perfect to do just that! Around the corner is the kitchen. In my family, the kitchen is the heart of the home…we love to cook and this space has everything I will need to whip up a delicious meal. The kitchen offers white cabinetry, modern appliances, ample cabinet and countertop space and a cozy pellet stove in the corner. Before heading upstairs, a full bathroom and laundry room complete the first floor. On the second floor, there are three sizable bedrooms all of which have a ton of natural light pouring into the rooms. I plan to retreat to my master suite at the end of the day. My master bedroom has an attached bonus room that I might use as a workout area or, I could make it into my home office… I love that I have options! The basement serves as the heart of my prepper and homesteader setup, housing my private spring well system fueled by a natural underground spring. Outside is where I love to be after a busy day. I already have plans to build a big garden and spend my evenings pruning my plants and watching my veggies grow. This property, sitting on almost an acre of land, is truly a homesteader’s dream! Another reason why I love this home is the location. Major roadways such as Route 73 and Route 100 allow me to access nearby towns quickly. As well as, parks, hiking trails, golf courses and shopping are all close by. I can’t wait to call this lovely farmhouse my home!
