Rick Girone was born into a family appliance & property management company. His Real Estate Career started at the age of 7 where he was responsible for collecting rent checks from the Officers who rented Apartments owned by his family! And grew up quickly learning platinum customer service from on-the-job training. He fulfilled the needs of his neighborhood as he enjoyed finding & selling them all the household goods that would enrich their family’s lives. “Mind Girone Business so you can mind your own business better & Achieve Success” was born.
It took a lifetime to fulfill this motto & write an Amazon Best Selling book published in 2017.
Rick attended Upper Merion & graduated from Penn State University. He created 3 Projects that would help fulfill his purpose in life. His Band of brothers motivated Penn State to recruit women into the Blue Band for the first time. They would also create the first Pep Bands which enabled more students to enjoy cheering on, our Championship teams in all sports. His third project was the CBA Career Day. Rick’s Business Plan was approved by Dean Kelly his team helped raise $1500 on April 21st University Park was decorated with balloons & over 100 Alumni came back to Campus to recruit Penn Staters in an Annual Event. EF Hutton’s CEO keynote speech, Women in Business discussed soaring like an Eagle instead of floundering like a Duck! Thus the First of many CBA Career Day’s was born. Now each major has a Career Day together from its start in the HUB Lounge today it is held @ the Concert & basketball Paladium Bryce Jordan Center!
After graduating PSU he had a successful Career in technology marketing, working as a Marketing Rep, Sales Rep, Account Manager, Director of Marketing, CMO, Broker, & President of companies like NCR, Texas Instruments, ZDS, Apple, Microsoft, Partners, YourRefiSource.com, YourStrategicCoach & YourRealtyServices.com an affiliate of Everyhome Realtors. He enjoys getting properties ready to sell and has a keen eye for what buyers will like. True to his roots, Rick is an avid Sports fan routing on the Phillies, Eagles, 76ers, Flyers, Penn State & Villanova. He coached AAU basketball & was recruited by Villanova where Jay Wright went on to win 2 Championships!
A Lifetime Penn State Alumni Member Rick served as President of both the Penn State Montgomery County Alumni Chapter, and the Upper Merion Jaycees. He is also a Lifetime Alumni Blue Bander, supporting numerous local organizations that help families grow stronger. He loves traveling to Penn State football games where he can still get you a room. He enjoys the South Jersey beaches and relaxing with his family. Rick uses his knowledge as a Mortgage Broker & Licensed Real Estate Agent/Recruiter to shepherd your listing through the process of Staging to Settlement.
