Spring-Ford Area School District
Nestled in western Montgomery County and northeastern Chester County, Springford School District offers a rigorous academic curriculum and plenty of extracurricular activities! The district serves approximately 7700 students over roughly 40 square miles in Limerick and Upper Providence townships, and Royersford and Spring City boroughs.
Spring-Ford Area School District Highlights
The Washington Post named Springford “One of America’s Most Challenging High Schools” in 2015! The prestigious award was given to the high school for the high participation rate in Advanced Placement (AP) courses among graduating seniors.
The Spring-Ford Golden Rams successfully compete in the Pioneer Athletic Conference (PAC-10). The Girls Basketball team recently won the state title!
Newsweek recently named Spring-Ford High School one of “America’s Top High Schools,” an award given to the top 500 out of 14,000 public high schools in the country!
The Golden Ram Marching Band is a popular activity for students, and has won many notable honors in recent years. The band has also been featured at the 6abc Thanksgiving Day Parade, and competes with the Tournament of the Bands in Hershey, Pennsylvania.
Brooke Elementary School, Evans Elementary School, Royersford Elementary School, Limerick Elementary School, Oaks Elementary School, Spring City Hybrid Elementary School, the 5th-6th Grade Center, the 7th Grade Center, the 8th Grade Center, and Spring-Ford Senior High School. Due to high population growth in the past two decades, the district has changed the roles of some of the schools a number of times.
