Perkiomen Valley School District
Affectionately referred to as “PV”, the Perkiomen Valley School District serves approximately 6,000 students in Montgomery County and comprises four elementary schools, two middle schools, and an award-winning high school.
Perkiomen Valley School District Highlights
U.S. News and World Report ranked Perkiomen Valley School District #17 in Pennsylvania in 2015! The school district is notable for a high level of proficiency in literature and mathematics, and a 50% Advanced Placement (AP) participation rate.

High school students in the district are offered the opportunity to earn college credits through the dual enrollment program with Ursinus College and Montgomery County Community College. Additionally, the school district is partnered with North Montco Career Technical Center.

Perkiomen Valley High School competes in the District I PIAA for all athletics. The school district consistently performs well in athletics, and recently sent many student-athletes to Division I universities. Go Vikings!

The district is home to Evergreen, Schwenksville, South, and Skippack Elementary Schools. Middle school students attend either Perkiomen Valley Middle School (PVMS) East or West. All 9th-12th grade students in the district attend Perkiomen Valley High School.

Perkiomen Valley High School offers a French club, Reading Olympics, Link Crew, Sign Language Club, Chess Club, Orchestra and Band....and that's just to name a few!

The popular Skippack Village is also located within the district. Skippack is known for its quaint shopping, mouth-watering restaurants, and charming architecture. Be sure to stop by for lunch as you visit homes in the school district.

The majority of homes in Perkiomen Valley School District fall in the moderate price range, with many townhomes for sale between $150,000-300,000, and single-family homes around $350,000. The district offers many home styles for a variety of budgets. Generally speaking, the southern portion of the district (Skippack) is a bit pricier while the northern portion is a bit more budget-friendly (Lower Frederick Township).

Plus, outdoor enthusiasts will love the convenience of the Perkiomen Trail, which winds throughout the district and offers over twenty miles for biking, running, and blading. Plenty of homes for sale are located within walking distance of the trail.

And for a home in a friendly development, be sure to check out Collegeville and Skippack. These towns are also home to an abundance of new construction – especially single-family homes with a nicely-sized backyard.
