Oxford Area School District Highlights
The high school offers plenty of exciting extracurricular activities, including a Ski & Snowboard Club, Future Farmers of America (FFA), a Robotics Team, and an Envirothon.

The district operates free “Summer Academies” for grades 2-8 during the month of July. These academies offer reading and writing courses, youth fitness, and STEM (Science, Engineering, Technology and Mathematics).

Ambitious high school students have the opportunity to partake in Oxford Area High School’s Early College Academy program. Eligible students may take courses at nearby Cecil College and earn credit towards an Associate’s Degree.

The Oxford Area School District operates six schools, and arranges students by grade level. Kindergarten students attend Jordan Bank Elementary School, first and second grade students attend Elk Ridge Elementary School, third and fourth grade students attend Nottingham Elementary School, and fifth and sixth grade students attend Hopewell Elementary School. Penn’s Grove Middle School is home to seventh and eighth grade students, and students in grades nine through twelve attend Oxford Area High School.
