Methacton School District Highlights
The school district is notable for its college readiness. Methacton High School offers a broad range of Advanced Placement (AP) courses to help high school students achieve college credit, and SAT Score ranked Methacton #14 out of 689 public Pennsylvania high schools in 2012! Methacton was also named to the 2015 AP National Honor Roll, published by the College Board, for its dedication to offering rigorous course work to high school students.

Methacton School District offers one of the region’s widest ranges of clubs and activities including Electric Car Club, Robotics Club, Theatre Company, a Habitat for Humanity volunteer group, and a poetry club—just to name a few!

Methacton arranges its schools a bit differently than most other local districts. Younger children between the grades of Kindergarten through 4th grade attend one of five elementary schools. 5th and 6th grade children then all attend Skyview Upper Elementary School. Arcola Intermediate School educates all students for 7th and 8th grade, and then 9th-12th grade students attend Methacton High School.
