Nestled in the very southern portion of Montgomery County and adjacent to the city of Philadelphia is Cheltenham School District! The district covers nine square miles and enrolls over 4500 students in Cheltenham township which includes the mailing addresses of Wyncote, Elkins Park and part of Glenside.

Cheltenham School District is led by superintendent Dr. Wagner Marseille. The celebrated educator was most recently employed as the acting superintendent of Lower Merion School District.

The high school boasts 29 Advanced Placement (AP) courses that give ambitious high school students an opportunity to obtain college credit, and over 65 clubs and activities! If you’re looking for a school with a wide range of extracurriculars, look no further than Cheltenham.

Cheltenham School District is affiliated with the Eastern Center for Arts and Technology. High school students who are interested in pursuing a technical career have the option to take classes in cosmetology, allied health, electrical technology, protective services, welding and many more!
Located within the school district is Arcadia University, a private college with a world-renowned study abroad program.

The school district operates seven schools in total. These include Wyncote Elementary School, Myers Elementary School, Glenside Elementary School, Cheltenham Elementary School, Elkins Park School, Cedarbrook Middle School, and Cheltenham High School.
