Nestled in southwestern Bucks County and adjacent to the City of Philadelphia, Bensalem Township School District serves approximately 7300 students over 21 square miles. The spirited district is in a convenient location and offers relatively affordable housing in a friendly suburb.
Bensalem Township School District Highlights
There is no shortage of things to do in Bensalem High School! Extracurricular activities include a Literary Magazine, Anime Club, Debate Team, Multicultural Club and National Honor Society.

High school students have the opportunity to enroll in programs offered by Bucks County Technical High School. These programs include Plumbing and Heating Technology, Cosmetology, Dental Health Careers, and Diesel Technology. This career-based high school offers students the opportunity to earn licensure and certificates in their respective career while still enrolled in high school.

School Lane Charter School is located within Bensalem Township School District, and offers a tuition-free public school alternative to interested Bensalem area students and families. The award-winning school has been designated as an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School.

Bensalem Township School District operates nine schools, including Belmont Hills Elementary School, Cornwells Elementary School, Samuel K. Faust Elementary School, Benjamin Rush Elementary School, Russell C. Struble Elementary School, Valley Elementary School, Robert K. Shafer Middle School, Cecelia Snyder Middle School, and Bensalem High School.

The district serves the entire township of Bensalem, which includes part of the town of Feasterville-Trevose.

Additionally, Bucks County is home to over 130 private schools, many of which are conveniently located near Bensalem.
