Nestled in eastern Chester County and steeped in history, Tredyffrin is an affluent township with charming homes and beautiful scenery. Plus, Tredyffrin is served by one of the top school districts in the state, Tredyffrin-Easttown School District! The township is home to approximately 30,000 people across 19.9 square miles.

Tredyffrin’s history dates back to 1684 when it was originally part of William Penn’s Welsh Tract. However, the tract later divided and Tredyffrin became an incorporated township in 1707. The word is derived from the Welsh words

The township is served by the Tredyffrin-Easttown School District (Conestoga High School). The high-achieving district is notable for its many academic and athletic accomplishments in the area. Additionally, a number of private schools are located nearby.

The township includes all or parts of the towns of Berwyn, Chesterbrook, Devon, Malvern, Paoli and Wayne.

Tredyffrin is also located near Villanova University, Cabrini College, Rosemont College, Haverford College, and Bryn Mawr College.

There is plenty to do and see in Tredyffrin Township. The area is notable for beautiful outdoor spaces – in fact, the township operates 12 parks! The township also offers a public library with community events.
