Scenic, historic, and charming! Radnor Township is an affluent municipality nestled along the Main Line of Philadelphia in northern Delaware County. The historic area features some of the most beautiful homes and properties in the region. Radnor’s history began as part of the Welsh Tract and dates back to 1682. The large piece of land was part of a grant from William Penn and was named after Radnorshire in Wales.

Radnor is served by the Radnor Township School District. The high-achieving district has earned the #1 spot for Academic Performance in the entire state, according to data from the Pennsylvania Department of Education! Additionally, Villanova University, Cabrini College, Eastern University, and Valley Forge Military Academy and College are located within Radnor Township.

The township includes all or parts of the towns of Wayne, Villanova, Bryn Mawr, Newtown Square, and Saint Davids.

In addition to an abundance of local parks, golf courses and country clubs, Radnor offers a downtown, walkable area (Lancaster Avenue in Wayne) with plenty to do and see! The area is known for fantastic eateries, including White Dog Café, Teresa’s Café and Next Door Bar, Azie, and Paramour. Quaint shops like Anthropologie line the streets, and fitness studios such as Pure Barre, and Verge Yoga are popular with local residents.

Homes for sale in Radnor Township tend to be priced significantly above the Delaware County average. The majority of single-family homes are priced over $1,000,000, although some more moderately priced homes are typically available.

The elite district beautifully blends old world charm and new world style.
