Plymouth Township

Situated in southern Montgomery County, this friendly township is home to an award-winning school district, major employers, and affordable residential communities. Suburban in nature, Plymouth Township offers an abundance of modest, move-in ready homes in established communities, as well as new construction options. Plymouth’s rich history dates back to 1686, when it was settled by English Quakers. Additionally, the Cold Point Historic District was named to the National Register of Historic Places.

The township uses the mailing address of Plymouth Meeting, and is conveniently located near Blue Bell, Conshohocken, Norristown and King of Prussia.

The popular town of Plymouth Meeting straddles Plymouth and Whitemarsh Townships. Plymouth Township is home to the recently renovated Plymouth Meeting Mall, which features a number of high-end shops, as well as award-winning restaurants and a Whole Foods.

Plymouth Township is also home to Plymouth Country Club, as well as Tee’s Golf Course. A number of parks and recreational opportunities are located within Plymouth Township, as well as surrounding municipalities. The township operates 11 parks comprising nearly 150 acres, as well as the Greater Plymouth Community Center.
