Lansdale Borough
Convenient, affordable, and popular! The borough of Lansdale is located in the heart of Montgomery County and is home to approximately 16,500 people. While being one of the more densely populated communities in the area, Lansdale maintains its friendly, hometown charm with a walkable downtown area and plenty of independently-owned stores and restaurants.
Lansdale Borough Quick Facts
Lansdale became a popular suburb of Philadelphia in the 1850s upon the construction of the North Pennsylvania Railroad. The town was named after the surveyor of the railroad, Phillip Lansdale Fox. Today, the town is easily accessible through the R5 Lansdale/Doylestown line.

No car? No problem! Lansdale is a walkable town with excellent public transportation. SEPTA’s regional rail hosts two stations in the borough (the Lansdale station and Pennbrook station), and three bus services operate regularly.

The borough is served by the award-winning North Penn School District. A variety of nearby private school options are also available.
What To Do In Lansdale Borough
Lansdale is well-loved by its residents for hosting many exciting annual events. The Lansdale Beer Tasting Festival is a town favorite each spring, and other popular festivities include the Oktoberfest, Under the Lights Car Show, and Lansdale Day. The borough is also known for hosting a number of recreational activities, including multiple 5k’s (we particularly love the Kugel Ball 5k!).

The borough is conveniently located in Montgomery County and offers a walkable downtown area. We love Ristorante Toscano, Arnold’s Way Raw Foods Café, the Lansdale Public Library, and the pretty train station in the center of town with the Kugel Ball!
Real Estate in Lansdale Borough
Homes in Lansdale Borough tend to be priced a bit below the Montgomery County average. The majority of homes for sale are townhome or single-family homes between $150,000 and $250,000, although higher-priced homes are also available. Most single-family homes in the borough are modest Cape Cods or ranch homes. As an established community, Lansdale doesn’t frequently offer new construction homes; instead, you’re more likely to find a classic mid-century style.

Looking for something a bit smaller and more affordable? You may find a fixer-upper or a condominium (perhaps in the Gwynedd Club) for under $150,000—a real bargain for being located in a great school district! It’s also not uncommon to find a townhome for a great deal that needs a little TLC.

EveryHome is proud to have many Realtors in Lansdale Borough. We would love to welcome you to the neighborhood!
