Gilbertsville, in northern Montgomery County, is a great spot for growing families on a budget who need 4 bedrooms. Located in the award-winning Boyertown Area School District, Gilbertsville features a great number of new larger single-family homes (pictured below) around $300,000, as well as pretty townhomes well under $250,000. And if you’re looking for space, you’ll find it in Gilbertsville – even the townhomes are close to 2500 square feet!

The Perkasie/Sellersville area in Upper Bucks County is home to a number of brand new communities with large lots, 3 or 4 bedrooms, and 2 garages – for under $300,000! Located in Pennridge School District, the Perkasie/Sellersville area is just a short commute from Doylestown, Quakertown, and Lansdale. There are also plenty of new and newer townhome communities under $250,000.

Another area with award-winning schools and big backyards available for new construction homes is North Coventry Township and Elverson area in Owen J. Roberts School District. If you’re looking for a large family home, you’ve found it here – many of these new homes are nearly 3,000 square feet and really unique new properties. Prices range considerably, but many are available for about $300,000, although the largest homes are closer to $400,000 … still not too bad considering the size and the luxury features (pictured below).

And perhaps the most affordable area in the Philadelphia suburbs for new construction is Coatesville. The semi-rural Chester County town offers beautiful new single-family homes with big backyards for under $250,000, and townhomes for $150,000. We anticipate seeing growing values and even more new communities as Coatesville becomes increasingly developed in the next few years.
