Hi! In addition to working with EveryHome since 2012, I’m also a full-time student. I graduated from Ursinus College in 2014, and now I’m working on my doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology. Some of my favorite parts about working at EveryHome include the flexible schedule and the fun work environment! This is what a typical day looks like for me:

5:30am: I like to wake up early to have a cup of coffee, spend time with my three dogs, maybe take a yoga class, or go for an early run.  Running is a big part of my life, and I love to run races (ranging in distance from 5k’s to marathons) throughout Greater Philadelphia!  This is also the time when I update EveryHome’s social media outlets.

7:00am: I have a long drive to school, so I head out the door early with my work and school laptops, as well as all of the paperwork that I’ll need for the day. While the 1hr+ ride was exhausting at first, I’ve learned to embrace the calmness before a chaotic day! I love listening to music by Ray Lamontagne, Amos Lee, Wilco, and The Avett Brothers.

8:00am – 12:00pm: Most weekdays are filled with long classes, or clinical training at my rotation (practicum). My current rotation is in neuropsychological assessment, and some of my favorite classes include Health Psychology, Statistics and Research!

12:00pm-1:00pm: My lunch break usually consists of responding to client e-mails, chatting with EveryHome co-founder and co-owner Katie Kennedy about upcoming plans and schedules, or writing content for EveryHome.com. If work is slower, I take this time to catch up on reading for class!

1:00pm-5:00pm: More classes, labs, and advisement/research meetings! Afterwards, I head home.

6:00pm: I tend to schedule most of my EveryHome work as soon as I get home from class. I might spend this time scheduling a new listing, meeting with clients, preparing documents, marketing a listing online, or showing homes!

7:30pm: My favorite way to relax at the end of the day is to cook. I love making homemade meals every night… and my boyfriend appreciates this too! I especially love seafood (scallops!) and anything on the grill.

8:00pm: I’m pretty exhausted at the end of every day, and I love to relax on the couch with a glass of red wine and a good book – especially any biographies or other non-fiction. I currently am enjoying books by Irvin Yalom, MD and Lisa Scottoline.  If I’m not too tired, I also like to spend this time sewing or finishing up DIY projects (I love to make soap and candles!).  While I’m not a huge television fan, I do love the shows Shark Tank, Impractical Jokers, and Family Feud.

9:30pm: Early to bed, early to rise!
