Emma (Kennedy) Waltz is truly a jack-of-all-trades. Not only does Emma serve as the office administrator, she’s also EveryHome’s primary photographer for listings, and she schedules all incoming appointments with one of EveryHome’s many agents. Plus, if you call the office or send an e-mail, you’re likely to speak with Emma!
Clients love Emma for her cheery demeanor, helpful attitude, and hard work around-the-clock to ensure that all new appointments get scheduled in a timely and efficient manner.
Here is a typical weekday in Emma’s busy life:
7:50-8:10am: I am sleeper. I always have been, need at least 9 hours to be “ready” for my day. I am awakened by the sweet and patient sounds of two perfect 2.5 year old cat babies awaiting breakfast and morning cuddles. My wonderful husband Tyler and I spend a few moments to ourselves before we start the day.
8:10am-9:00am: Get the babes fed (all of them including office morning snacks for my man) I always take a few moments before I head off to work to straighten up the house so it’s easy on the eyes after a long day. Arrive to the office at 8:50ish sometimes 9:05 lol.
9:00am-11:00am: This time is normally spent on “in office” work. Catching up with emails, overnight showing request and whatever else the real estate world has tossed my direction. I always spend a ton of time with my boss and mama Katie Kennedy making sure all our EveryHome clients are happy as well as our agents.
11:00am-2:00pm: All of my days are different which is why real estate is great! Somedays I am in the office making sure our entire client database is up to date with targets and matches, answering the office phone and taking care of all emails. Other days we may have some awesome showings, or I could be out doing my other job here at EveryHome listing photography. There is normally a lunch run for us office people who include my parents, husband and brother!
3:00 – 4:00pm: I try very hard to be in the office at the end of business. This is when we are the busiest with new client request, questions! This is also when I touch base with our agents about their current clients and if there is anything I can do to help them.
Tyler and I finish up at around 4:30 but our day is NOT done! We head home keep up with the house work, play with the cats, get some hubby wife time and I try to make a home cooked meal every night. Because we are human kid-less our nights are pretty relaxing and filled with silly tv shows and games. We also love to travel, so we also enjoy planning any upcoming trips in the evening! Bedtime ranges for us, hubby is much more of a night person where I like bedtime at around 9:30. Plus, my work week doesn’t end till Sunday, as Saturday is always jammed packed with showings, friends, and family.
