The August stats are in, and new home sales have risen considerably! Americans purchased 552,000 single family homes last month, which is 6% higher than the month prior.
The popularity of new construction is also evident in Greater Philadelphia, as an abundance of custom single-family homes and private subdivisions have sprung up all around the suburbs.
Experts are quick to point out that this figure is still historically low. In fact, the monthly average of new home sales is over 700,000.
