Home Crush

Turns out most of us have had “home crushes”, according to a report by the National Association of Realtors! Defined as a home that someone likes so much that they are drawn back to it multiple times (whether online or in person), home crushes have been reported by over 69% of all surveyed consumers.

                A home crush can vary with gender. Women are more likely than men to have a home crush that was out of their league financially, while men were more realistic financially but tended to bounce from one home crush to another more frequently. Hmmmm…

                What makes someone have a home crush? Men and women both reported that outdoor living spaces, curb appeal, and updated appliances make them swoon, but women tended to prefer open floor plans while men fell more in love with garage space.
