Great Valley School District

Serving parts of the Greater Philadelphia’s prestigious “Main Line”, Great Valley School District operates six schools in eastern Chester County and is consistently ranked among the best public school districts in the state. The district encompasses some of the most scenic and charming towns in the region, with just a short commute to Philadelphia, King of Prussia, and West Chester.

Great Valley High School students recently performed in the top 1% in the state in science and math on the PSSA’s! The district is also among the top ten public high schools in the state for average SAT scores.

Great Valley competes in the Ches-Mont league within the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association. The district enjoys a strong reputation in athletics, with numerous state championship appearances in recent years. Additionally, the district also offers a comprehensive intramural sports program.

The district offers the Great Valley Virtual Academy, an innovative cyber charter school for interested students. Students enrolled in this award-winning virtual academy will still have access to extracurricular activities and guidance support through the district.

Great Valley School District operates six schools, including Charlestown Elementary School, General Wayne Elementary School, K.D. Markley Elementary School, Sugartown Elementary School, Great Valley Middle School and Great Valley High School. The district encompasses Malvern Borough, Charlestown, East Whiteland and Willistown Township.
